Jazz at the Swan

The White Swan Inn will host an evening jazz concert featuring The Tim Johnson Trio on Saturday, August 10 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for "Jazz at the Swan" are $15 and are available at The Book Nook and Java Shop, 8744 Ferry St in Montague and at the Arts Council of White Lake, 8695 Ferry St. in Montague.

The Paisley Place
Flute sounds will fill the air at a free recital at Paisley Place Tea Shop, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 10.

Pekadill's
The popular West Michigan flute ensemble, Michele Mines and Friends, will give a free summer pops concert in the garden at Pekadill's at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 11. The group will be using piccolo, c flute, alto, bass and contra-bass flutes in easy-listening light classical and pop selections. From Mozart to Mancini, the Civil War, the 1890's, George M. Cohan, Joplin, and more, the
repertoire is eclectic and definitely delightful.
